Technische Universiteit Delft (Netherlands)
The Delft University of Technology is an internationally
recognized university with an impressive record when it comes
to applied research. The university covers a wide span of
technical disciplines ranging from basic disciplines like
mathematics, chemistry, and physics to applied disciplines
like civil engineering, aerospace engineering, and design.

Research is a non profit research organisation SME focused
in promoting research in the area of aircraft technology,
maintenance, operations, airports and management. It has
been involved in IP European projects ( TAMEM- FLYSAFE-HILAS-ICE
recently in QUANTOM ) in a variety of experts areas. Members
of the research team have a strong professional background
derived from their previous engagements either in IP projects
or as air transport services provider. They are highly qualified
and experienced in a wide range of related disciplines; those
of which are of particular value to this project include
modeling experts and dissemination and exploitation experts.

Social, Cognitive and Quantitative Sciences
The Social, Cognitive, and Quantitative Sciences
Department of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
has been founded in 2001 and is constituted of 57 personnel
units (full professors, associate professors and researchers)
belonging to two Faculties, namely the Economics and Communication
Sciences Faculty and the Educational Sciences Faculty. Another
35 people are currently working as PhD students and temporary
research contracts. Besides the ordinary lessons the Department,
through the Metacentre, provides different distant learning
(e-learning) degree courses. A Research Centre on the Information
and Communication Society is also part of the Department
from year 2002.

CARTIF was created
in 1994 as the Automation, Robotics, Information and Manufacturing
Technology Centre, a non-for-profit association focused on
applied research and based in Boecillo Technology Park, Valladolid,
Spain. From October 2005, CARTIF is legally established as
a Foundation keeping its main goals are to identify technology
needs and develop R&D-based knowledge, to support technological
innovation in Industry, mainly among SMEs, to disseminate R&D
and innovation results.
